I’m sure it goes without saying that travel is pretty much my favourite thing. If you’ve met me in real life then you might know that I also love cute, interesting and quirky jewellery. So I was delighted when the lovely people at Comuse Travels sent me one of their “Time To Take A Map” necklaces!
This lightweight chain features a gold map of the world, laid out as it is on a flat wall map. It sits comfortably on my neck, high enough to stay out of the way of my clothing, and, really importantly, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all.
It arrived beautifully packaged up in a little drawstring bag, with an accompanying poem – a gorgeous touch!
It’s a really versatile piece of jewellery; you could wear it with pretty much any outfit for any occasion. It was a cute addition to a lace vest, patterned print leggings, and blazer jacket for going out drinking and dancing with friends, but also worked well the next day with jeans, a tank top, and crochet shawl to go about my everyday business in town. I can imagine teaming it with a dress for a more formal evening sometime, as well as with whatever I’m wearing to go and explore when on my trips; it’s a pretty and interesting accessory to reflect what travellers are all about…I love it!
